Nintendo adds three GBA classics to Switch Online

Nintendo has added three Game Boy Advance titles to its Switch Online library, bringing Metal Slug Advance, Monster Rancher Advance, and Kururin Paradise to subscribers on Nintendo Switch and Nintendo Switch 2. The games are available now through the Game Boy Advance Nintendo Classics app, which requires a Nintendo Switch Online + Expansion Pack membership. Nintendo of America announced the update on X, and the company has released a trailer showing all three titles.
Metal Slug Advance is SNK's 2004 run-and-gun entry in its long-running Metal Slug series. Monster Rancher Advance is a life-simulation spin-off from Tecmo that first released in Japan in December 2001 before arriving in North America in 2002. Kururin Paradise is a 2002 puzzle game from developer Eighting and the sequel to Kuru Kuru Kururin, which launched in 2001. The title never released outside Japan, and Nintendo Everything reports that the update makes it available to players in North America and Europe for the first time.
Nintendo added Mario vs. Donkey Kong to the Game Boy Advance library in March and Dr. Mario & Puzzle League in July. Three more NES and Famicom titles joined the service in September. Game Boy Advance games first came to Switch Online in February 2023 as part of the Expansion Pack tier, which also carries Nintendo 64 and Sega Mega Drive libraries.
