A while ago, we reported the sighting of a new Sharp device on Geekbench. The new device, titled Sharp FS8016, seems to have been doing its rounds across all the popular benchmarks, with it finding its way to AnTuTu, and more recently, GFXBench.
The FS8016, at it's AnTuTu sighting, was listed as having a 1440x2040 resolution—commonly known as 2K. Performance wise, it was reported as achieving scores in the region of 110k, another impressive performance by Qualcomm's new Snapdragon 660. Nothing too special, otherwise, as the Oppo R11, another device using the Snapdragon 660, also has performance scores in that ballpark. It was also listed as featuring an 8MP selfie shooter, 12MP rear camera, 4GB of RAM, 64GB of internal storage, and Android 7.1.1 Nougat.
The FS8016 was spotted on GFXBench earlier in the day but the listing leaves us with no new information, with the only other confirmed specification being its 5.5" display.
This device looks to be a top mid-range entry from Sharp and we can only hope they plan on a global release this time out.
