New Nubia device spotted on TENAA - Z17 Lite?
Nubia's 2017 flagship, the Nubia Z17 was released a few weeks ago and it looks like the company is set to release a slightly less powerful variant of that device for those on tighter budgets. The new device was spotted on TENAA—China's telecommunications equipment certification center—and its build lends some credence to the idea that it may be a Z17 variant, the Z17 Lite.
The new device sports a 5.5" FHD display, 6GB of RAM, 64GB of internal storage memory, and a 3200mAh battery. It is powered by an unnamed SoC clocked at 2.0GHz—a Snapdragon 625, probably—and carries dual rear cameras, with a dual LED flash beside them. The primary rear camera is listed as a 12MP sensor but there's no detail on the second one. The selfie shooter is a 16MP sensor, much like the original Z17.
TENAA listings are not always accurate, though, so you'd do well to take these with a grain of salt. We'll keep you updated if anything new comes up.
