A live image of the ZTE Nubia Z17 leaked earlier today, revealing incredibly thin bezels on a device that bears a striking resemblance to the Huawei Honor 8.

Over the past few weeks, there have been multiple leaks teasing ZTE's newest flagship, the Nubia Z17. A live image of the device surfaced today, revealing a great-looking device with thin bezels. While the device doesn't go the whole distance on the bezel-less route, it does a good enough job at reducing side bezels to a minimum.

The Z17 will be the second Chinese device to carry Qualcomm's Snapdragon 835—Xiaomi's MI 6 being the first—and will be serve as a worthy foil to other released flagships.

ZTE's new item is speculated to come in two versions, the first with 6GB of RAM and 64GB of storage, and a higher-priced variant with 8GB of RAM and 128GB of storage. Impressive on paper but it's starting to feel like a game of numbers at this point.

It will sport a 5.5" FHD display, Corning Gorilla Glass 4, dual rear cameras with a fingerprint reader mounted just below them, and a rather disappointing 3000mAH battery.

More traditional features aside, the Z17 has been certified to come equipped with, at least, an IP67 rating, and may also have some sort of AI feature embedded.

Launch dates remain inconclusive but there is speculation of a June 1st release.
