Back in 2015, when Samsung Pay was unleashed, Discover promised to offer support for its cards to those using this new service in early 2016. Unfortunately, that did not happen as promised. Now, one year later than expected, users of this mobile payment platform can finally add their Discover cards to Samsung Pay.
Not long ago, Samsung Pay offered support for three banks in the United Kingdom, namely First Direct, M&S Bank, and HSBC. Thanks to its ability to process NFC and MST transactions, Samsung Pay can be used in stores where its competitors like Apple Pay or Android Pay are useless.
The list of handsets with Samsung Pay support gets longer as time goes by, although it also depends on the market taken into account. Flagship devices were the first ones to gain Samsung Pay access, and now mid-rangers like Galaxy J7 Pro and Galaxy A3 (2016) are expected to join the list.
