Leaks about new Nintendo consoles keep coming. Only a few days have passed since Bloomberg and Vandal reported separately on an upgraded Switch, commonly referred to as the Switch Pro. However, it turns out that Amazon Mexico also listed multiple Switch models on its website, before promptly de-listing them.
The Google Cache page for one of the models remains live, at the time of writing, which you view here. We have also provided screenshots of two listings that you can view below. Apparently, Amazon Mexico listed four models, with two assigned the following Amazon Standard Identification Numbers (ASIN):
- dummyasin-nnsw-2021-013
- dummyasin-nnsw-2021-014
We read 'nnsw' as New Nintendo Switch, although we would be surprised in Nintendo were to market the console by that name. According to @Nintendeal, Amazon Mexico used similar ASINs for Mario Kart Live and Pokemon Legends Arceus, for reference. Nintendo is expected to equip an upgraded Switch console with a 7-inch OLED display and a revised dock. You can read more about what to expect from a new Switch here.
