New Epic Games weekly game giveaway arrives with $39.99 value

Epic Games has updated its game giveaway, having offered Circus Electrique and $100 worth of Firestone: Online Idle RPG in-game items for free in the last week. Incidentally, the timing of this week's deal coincides with Epic Games' Mega Sale 2024, which runs a full month. As such, the company will announce numerous sales through May and into June.

For this week, Epic Games has decided to give away Dragon Age: Inquisition - Game of the Year Edition, a game that averages 85/100 on Metacritic for its PC release. Please note that the game generally sells for $39.99 on PC, including on other marketplaces like Amazon.

For reference, Dragon Age: Inquisition - Game of the Year Edition includes the following content on top of the base game itself:

• Dragon Age multiplayer Deluxe Edition chests
• Flames of the Inquisition Arsenal, Armor, and Armored Mount
• Jaws of Hakkon DLC pack
• Skyhold Throne, Red Hart Halla and Bog Unicorn
• Spoils of the Avvar: 5 new mounts, 2 new sets of armour, and new options to personalize your base at Skyhold.
• Spoils of the Qunari: An armoured war mount, new armour sets — including 1 in the style of the Arishok — and Skyhold items.
• The Descent DLC pack
• Trespasser DLC pack

However, it is already possible to play Dragon Age: Inquisition - Game of the Year Edition for free, although you must already have EA Play or Game Pass Ultimate subscriptions to do so. Incidentally, Epic Games is also allowing new or returning users to redeem a one-month Discord Nitro subscription, which typically runs to $9.99 per month. Unlike this week's game giveaway, the one-month Discord Nitro subscription will be redeemable until June 13.
