Local buyers can purchase the Moto Z2 Play and JBL SoundBoost Moto Mod together for just 520 Euros. In comparison, the smartphone and JBL speaker will retail for 500 Euros and 100 Euros, respectively, if bought separately.

Lenovo officially unveiled the Moto Z2 Play for the European market this week during a press event in Berlin alongside a set of Moto Mods. The smartphone was already confirmed for the North American and UK markets early last month with launch prices of $500 USD and £379 Pounds, respectively.

Motorola has since released specification sheets and prices for the German market as shown below. Interestingly, the Moto Z2 Play will be launching in Germany only as a bundle with the JBL SoundBoost 2 Moto Mod for 520 Euros whereas the smartphone itself will retail for 500 Euros everywhere else. The attachable speaker promises up to 10 hours of runtime and is even splash resistant. The promotion is likely an attempt to get owners hooked onto the smartphone's Moto Mod capabilities as the proprietary accessories play a large part in the success of the Moto Z series.

Other Moto Mods at launch aside from the SoundBoost 2 module include the GamePad Mod, TurboPower secondary battery pack, and a MotoShell wireless charger for 90 Euros, 70 Euros, and 50 Euros, respectively. These same extras are not exclusive to the region and will be offered globally.
