Moto GamePad pre-orders now live
Verizon Wireless was usually the exclusive carrier for Motorola flagships in the US, but now the situation has changed. The new Motorola flagship known as Z2 Force Edition is also on its way to AT&T, T-Mobile, and US Cellulars, all expected to add it to their portfolio by the end of next month. On the other hand, Verizon is now already taking pre-orders for not one, but two exclusive Moto mods.
The long-awaited Moto GamePad mod provides the following to mobile gamers: dual control sticks, action buttons, as well as a generous 8-hour battery life extension. Its companion as a Verizon exclusive is the red JBL SoundBoost 2, a speaker module that offers premium sound quality and a 10-hour increase in autonomy.
According to the official press release, those interested can already pre-order the Moto GamePad for a price of US$79.99 USD. Unfortunately, the details about the launch of its red speaker companion are not available yet. The other two Moto mods mentioned by the press release are the TurboPower battery pack and the 360 Camera. However, their prices and launch dates are not known yet.
