Mid-range HTC A12 rumored to come with Snapdragon 410 chip

HTC 12 rumored specs include Snapdragon 410 chip
Taiwanese manufacturer HTC is rumored to be working on a new mid-range smartphone. The HTC A12 is expected to come with a 4.7-inch HD display and a Snapdragon 410 chipset.

Upleaks - one of the most popular tech leaksters around - recently published detailed information on an upcoming HTC handset called the A12. If this info turns out to be accurate, the HTC A12 will be a mid-range smartphone with no bells or whistles attached. The rumored specs recommend the A12 as a good fit for the HTC Desire range, but at the moment we cannot confirm this.

According to upleaks, the HTC A12 will draw its processing power from a 64-bit Qualcomm Snapdragon 410  chipset paired with 1GB of RAM. The 4.7-inch dsplay will allegedly run a resolution of 1280 by 720 pixels. Other specifications mentioned by the source include an 8MP primary camera, a 1.3 front-facing sensor, and a 2100mAh battery that should easily last through the day. Although Android 5.0 Lollipop has already been available for a couple of months, upleaks claims that the HTC A12 will run Android 4.4 KitKat overlaid with the HTC Sense user interface.

At the moment, we don't have any information regarding the official unveiling, but reason dictates that there's a good chance we'll get to see the HTC A12 introduced at CES 2015 in January or MWC 2015 in March. The source claims that the upcoming HTC A12 will be available in the US from all four major carriers.
