Deal | Medieval Stardew Valley: Graveyard Keeper is free for a limited time

The indie hit Graveyard Keeper can now be downloaded for free until April 13, both at Steam as well as in the PlayStation Store and in the Xbox Store. Only the version for the Nintendo Switch and the Nintendo Switch 2 ($449 on Amazon) ist not available for free.
The game runs on both Windows and macOS, and can be played on the Steam Deck as well as on the PlayStation 4, PS5, Xbox One and Xbox Series X|S. According to SteamDB, Graveyard Keeper has never been offered for free before, even though the PC version was regularly available for just $3.99. The numerous DLC expansions are not offered for free.
With a Metascore of 69 out of a possible 100 points, Graveyard Keeper was rated rather mixed by the press. Reviews often compare the game to the indie farming hit Stardew Valley, although the game mechanics of Graveyard Keeper are said to not interact quite as seamlessly with each other as in its big role model, while the difficulty level seems somewhat unbalanced. On Steam, the game is rated positively by 85 percent of all players.
The fact that Graveyard Keeper is currently being offered for free is due to the fact that the developers Lazy Bear Games want to promote the sequel with this campaign. The trailer embedded below provides a first look at Graveyard Keeper 2 before the game is released on Steam, PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S and Nintendo Switch 2 later in 2026.
