Maxtang's latest all-AMD mini PC launched with Ryzen 7 8845HS 'Hawk Point' APU, up to 64 GB RAM and 4 TB storage
Maxtang, a relatively well-known Chinese computer hardware brand has unveiled its latest offering in the mid-range mini PC segment - the T0-FP750. Ignoring the awkward name, the mini PC boasts relatively impressive specs and should be a decent choice for casual home as well as office users.
The Maxtang T0-FP750 is powered by either AMD's Ryzen 7 8845HS 'Hawk Point' APU strutting its 8 Zen 4 cores, 16 threads, and a maximum boost clock of 5.1 GHz, or the more lethargic Zen 3+ based Ryzen 9 6900HX, also with 8 cores and 16 threads. The system features dual-channel DDR5 SODIMM slots and can accommodate up to 64 GB of RAM, alongside dual M.2 SSD slots that can house up to a whopping 4 TB of NVMe storage.
As for a discrete GPU, don't hold your breath. The Maxtang T0-FP750's compact enclosure has no room for such luxuries. However, both the Ryzen 7 8845HS and the Ryzen 9 6900HX APUs pack relatively powerful integrated graphics. The Ryzen 7 8845HS rocks the excellent RDNA 3-based Radeon 780M iGPU with 12 CUs, while the 6900HX settles for the relatively slower RDNA 2-based Radeon 680M iGPU. Both these options will be sufficient for casual home and office use, but neither will satiate high-end gaming or graphical demands.
