Marvel's Midnight Suns confirmed for an October 7 release on PC and consoles

Marvel's Spider-Man 2 and Wolverine still don't have a concrete release date. The only thing to look forward to for many is the original Spider-man's PC launch. Now, Marvel fans can add October 7 to their calendar, as that is the day the highly-anticipated Marvel's Midnight Suns will be released for PS4, Xbox One, PS5, Xbox Series S|X, and PC. The Nintendo Switch will get it, too, but at a later date.

2K unveiled a new Marvel's Midnight Suns trailer at Summer Game Fest 2022, revealing a star-studded cast with Spider-man, Wolverine, Iron Man, The Hulk and others. Popular antagonists such as Venom and Sabretooth are included, too. However, the game won't be nearly as action-packed as Spider-man.

Based on the multiple teasers put out, Marvel's Midnight Suns will be a tactical turn-based RPG. One can think of it like Hearthstone, but with better graphics and more in-depth gameplay mechanics. It isn't necessarily a bad thing, as it will allow the game to run on previous-generation consoles without too many hiccups.

Marvel's Midnight Suns can now be pre-ordered starting at US$60 for the PS4/Xbox One/PC version and US$70 for the PS5, Xbox Series S|X version. The Digital+ Edition and Legendary Edition cost US$80 and US$100, respectively, and throw in some exclusive skins and the latter gives players access to future content via the Season Pass.
