Magico's latest subwoofer is like almost no other, with it weighing in at 177 kg and capable of outputting 6,500 W of power. The subwoofer has a frequency response of between 10 Hz and 150 Hz too, with a 136 dB peak volume.

Earlier this week, Sonos' next subwoofer leaked, the Sub Mini. Expected to be a cheaper option to the company's Sub (Gen 3), the Sub Mini will lack some features that its more expensive sibling possesses. At the other end of the market, Magico has unveiled a US$32,000 subwoofer that delivers up to 6,500 W of power.

Magico notes that the Titan 15 peaks at 6,500 W when set to 230 V; 120 V yields 4,800 W. Unsurprisingly, the Titan 15 is large even by subwoofer standards. According to Magico, the Titan 15 measures 65 x 65 x 76 cm and weighs 177 kg, so it could leave as big of a hole in your floor as your bank account.

The Titan 15 has two Class D amplifiers that output at 3,200 W each. These amplifiers power dual 15-inch drivers and can output at up to 136 dB with minimal audio distortion. Also, the subwoofer has a 10 Hz to 150 Hz frequency range; generally, frequencies below 20 Hz are imperceptible by humans.

Additionally, Magico has equipped the Titan 15 with a combined electronic crossover and an in-house DSP control centre for optimal room calibration. Magico will begin selling the Titan 15 through Absolute Sounds in Q1 2022.
