MagicX One35 full specs revealed, pre-orders begin on October 10

After months of waiting, we finally know everything about the MagicX One35. This new retro handheld has been teased for a while, and fans have been curious about what it would offer. Now, the full specifications are out, and it looks like the One35 could become a serious competitor in the growing handheld market.

The team behind the MagicX One35 shared the details on their official Discord channel (linked below; post only visible to those who join). According to the specifications, the handheld is powered by the MediaTek Helio G85 chip. It comes with 4GB of LPDDR4X RAM and 64GB of eMMC 5.1 storage, which should provide plenty of power for retro gaming and smooth emulation. For those who want more storage space, the handheld also supports expandable storage via a TF card wit cards up to 512GB officially supported.

As far as the screen is concerned, the One35 features a 3.5-inch multi-touch display with a 960 x 640 resolution, which is a decent size for a retro handheld. However, what makes the screen impressive is its max claimed brightness of 700 nits, making it bright enough for use outdoors or in other well-lit environments.

Despite its small size, the MagicX One35 packs a decent 4,300mAh battery. The team claims this will provide between five to seven hours of playtime, depending on the games being played and the display brightness level. And at just 189 grams, the product is lightweight and portable, so you can carry it everywhere.

In any case, the official product page of the One35 is now live on the MagicX website. Pre-orders are set to begin on October 10 at a price of $79. However, the device will not start shipping until November 10, so there will be about a one-month wait after placing an order.
