MSI unveils S100 Windows 8.1 3-in-1 tablet
MSI announced its latest 3-in-1 Windows 8.1 tablet earlier today. Dubbed S100, this 10-inch convertible is advertised as being "the best multi-functional tablet in creativity and productivity" and packs a quad-core Bay Trail-T processor, a dual 2 MP camera system, as well as 10-point multitouch control.
These are the main specs and features of the MSI S100:
- Processor: quad-core 1.33 GHz Intel Bay Trail-T Z3740D
- Memory/Storage: 2 GB DDR3L RAM; 64 GB internal storage and microSD support
- Display: 10-inch IPS multitouch with 1,280X800 pixels
- Cameras: 2 MP front, 2 MP back
- Connectivity: WiFi 802.11b/g/n + Bluetooth 4.0 combo, micro USB 2.0, HDMI 1.4a
- Operating system: Windows 8.1
- Battery/Autonomy: 7,500 mAh lithium-polymer; up to 10 hours
This tablet will ship together with a keyboard and a protective cover, but there is no information on availability and pricing available at this time. There is no doubt that more about this portable will be revealed soon as it will hit the first online and retail stores.
