Launched a year and a half ago, the MSI MPG Z690 Edge WiFi motherboard can now be had for just US$199 on Amazon US, a 39% drop from its original price of US$329.99. It comes with overclocking support and sports a robust VRM with 16+1+1 power phases. Most importantly, it has BIOS FlashBack functionality, allowing users to easily update the BIOS to a version that supports Intel's latest-gen processors.
The ATX motherboard comes with four DDR5 memory slots, six SATA ports, and four PCIe 4.0 M.2 slots for storage. Additionally, there are three full-size PCIe slots (one PCIe 5.0 x16 plus two PCIe 3.0 x4 electrically) and a PCIe 3.0 x1 slot. Other noteworthy internal connectors include a 10 Gbps USB Type-E header, a 19-pin USB connector, two USB 2.0 headers, and eight 4-pin fan connectors.
