M1X MacBook Pro scheduled for release in August according to commenter as long as Apple Silicon supply meets demand
A leaker has stated that Apple has got one of the M1X MacBook Pro models scheduled for release in “week 31” of this year, which was later clarified as from Monday, August 2 until Sunday, August 8. Although it is not revealed whether it will be the expected MacBook Pro 14 or MacBook Pro 16 that could be released that week, LeaksApplePro affirms that this is the “date” as supplied by their source.
Unfortunately, the tipster uses up a good portion of the M1X MacBook Pro release date post to cover bases, by stating “this is likely to be changed due to the volatility of chips supply. It’ll probably be moved forward or backwards”. This is basically saying the 2021 MacBook Pro laptops could be released at any point from the current date up until December 31…and if 2022 starts looming on the horizon then a shortfall of Apple Silicon can be blamed for the delay.
This ambiguity has led another Apple news reporter, Apple Bizz, to have a crack at predicting a precise date for the release of the M1X MacBook Pro laptops. The date offered is Tuesday, September 7 – based on Apple’s past history in regard to launch events and Cupertino’s fondness for doing things on Tuesdays. It’s not just chip shortages that could force delays on to the Apple Silicon MacBook Pro machines though, as there are also reported issues with mini-LED supply.

Apple has scheduled the release of at least one model on week 31.
According to my source, this is likely to be changed due to the volatility of chips supply. It’ll probably be moved forward or backwards, but this is the “date” as for today.
Looking back through history, #Apple have never had an event in July or August.

Its likely that the earliest we will see the first hardware event is in Sept… but what date exactly?
Following previous Tuesdays and early month trends, everything points to:
