Logitech launches new MX Master 4 Special Edition with a fresh design

Earlier this month, a leak suggested that Logitech was preparing to launch a new MX Master 4 Special Edition mouse. The company has now officially listed a special-edition model on its website, although its design looks noticeably different from the version shown in the earlier leak.
The MX Master 4 Special Edition is priced at $119.99, the same as the standard model. Pre-orders are currently open, with Logitech expected to begin shipping the mouse on October 30. The company also says this is a limited drop, so it will only be available while supplies last.
However, don't expect any upgrades. Logitech says the Special Edition uses the same core architecture as the regular MX Master 4. This means you still get the MagSpeed Scroll Wheel capable of scrolling up to 1,000 lines per second, built-in haptic feedback, and the dedicated Actions Ring button. Instead, the changes are focused entirely on the design and several references printed across the mouse.
The Special Edition combines light gray and silver sections with a dark charcoal palm rest and bright lime-green accents. Angular white patterns appear across the main buttons, while programming-inspired details are scattered around the body. These include "//Special Edition" on the right button and "Hello, World!" along the thumb rest, alongside other symbols and code-like text.
Interestingly, this isn't the same design that appeared in the previous leak. That version seemed to build on the standard MX Master 4's Pale Gray colorway while adding red accents. It's unclear whether Logitech has another Special Edition planned, but for now, the newly listed developer-themed model is the only one officially available.
