Only two AAA games among the 7 launch titles, but there are more coming soon. Also, the list of companies and publishers includes big names such as Capcom, EA & Frostbite, Gearbox Publishing, Valve, My.Games, Ubisoft and Warner Bros. Games.

Next week we should see the release of AMD’s FidelityFX Super Resolution that is touted as a faster alternative to Nvidia’s DLSS, plus it is open source so it is supposed to be easier to implement in existing or upcoming games. Granted, the image quality demoed a few weeks ago did not look that sharp, but any game developer and GPU maker can hop in and improve the algorithm since it is open source. Just how many developers and publishers are already onboard for FSR? Videocardz has managed to get a list with all the companies, and as an added bonus, we also get a list with all the games supported on launch day with some more titles that will soon receive support.

First, let us take a look at the games list since it is shorter. There are 7 titles ready for launch: 22 Racing series, Anno 1800, Evil Genius 2, Godfall, KingShunt, Terminator Resistance and The Riftbraket. Very few AAA games, sure, but the list of 12 upcoming games that will feature FSR support is more impressive and includes Baldur’s Gate III, Far Cry 6, Myst, Resident Evil Village and Vampire The Masquerade: Bloodhunt. Yes, there is Farming Simulator 22 in there for the sake of variety. 7 launch titles is already more than the two AAA games supported by DLSS at launch. Maybe 12 more games is not exactly that big of a selection either; however, the list of developers that are already planning to release FSR games features no less than 44 entries, with big names like Crystal Dynamics, Perfect World Games, Rebellion, Capcom, EA & Frostbite, Gearbox Publishing, Obsidian Entertainment, Unity engine, Valve, My.Games, Ubisoft and Warner Bros. Games.

We are hearing that Intel is interested in implementing FSR support for its upcoming DG2 GPUs, and we might even see Nvidia trying its hand at improving the open source code if FSR becomes the industry standard.
