The fairly new ergonomic chair company, LiberNovo, has launched three new chairs with pre-sales starting from today, May 12. The Maxis chairs are designed for “big and tall” users, while the Omni SE and Pro are cheaper and more premium alternatives to the original Omni.

Following its first release of the Omni, which we reviewed, LiberNovo has expanded its portfolio with three more options. There are two new additions to the Omni lineup, along with a new Maxis series designed for big and tall users. The trio builds on the design of the original Omni and addresses some of the concerns customers had.

The Maxis is designed for users in the height range of 178 cm to 200 cm. It supports up to 188 kg and has a visibly wider backrest, along with more seat depth compared to the original Omni. LiberNovo has also added another reclining angle for a total of five, addressing one of the user complaints. It retains the electric lumbar support with motorized massage mode, and adds active AirFlow seat ventilation. There is a centrifugal fan below the seat that runs at up to 4,000 RPM and is powered by the larger 3,000 mAh battery. This variant of the Maxis uses Danish Gabriel Atlantic fabric for the seat and backrest.

There are two other versions, including a manual one that gets rid of all electronics. The Maxis Electric retains the motorized spinal massage but without the AirFlow ventilation. These also skip on the premium fabrics.

As the names suggest, the Omni SE is the cheaper alternative to the Omni, while the Pro model brings a couple of upgrades. With the Omni SE, the electronics have been removed for manual adjustments, but it still gets the new five reclining modes. The rest is the same as the original Omni. The Omni Pro, on the other hand, gets the AirFlow ventilation system and switches the nylon base to a high-grade aluminum alloy base. It also gets the Danish Gabriel Atlantic fabric upgrade.

LiberNovo Maxis, Omni SE, Omni Pro price and availability

The company has not shared pricing for the three models yet, but sales will start from June 16. They will be available in black and space grey colors. Pre-sales are open in the US, Canada, and the EU with a $10 refundable deposit. LiberNovo says those who put in a deposit before June 16 will get early bird pricing.
