Lenovo Yoga 710-11-80TX000CUS
The Lenovo Yoga 710-11-80TX000CUS is a convertible laptop designed mainly for portability. The portability is gained from its low power consumption thanks to an Intel Core m3-6Y30 processor based on the Skylake architecture. It is clocked at up to 2.2 GHz and comes with an integrated Intel HD Graphics 515 graphics. The Core M processors are designed to be more power efficient and to emit very low heat. Hence, the laptop does not require a cooling fan making it a very quiet laptop. However, this also means that the performance is slightly lower than laptops' with the Core i series processors from Intel. Inside the laptop, there are 4 GB of LPDDR3 RAM and a 256 GB M.2 Solid State Disk. The 11.6-inch display of the convertible laptop supports 10-point multi-touch and features a 1920 x 1080 pixels. The screen may not be the best in the market, but it offers good contrast and enough brightness for outdoors usage. Two hinges hold the screen and allow turning it all the way to the back for turning this laptop into a tablet. The hinges are strong enough for use in laptop and eve tent mode. In fact, the entire build quality is good and feels like it can stand a few knocks. The Yoga 710 comes pre-installed with 64 bit Windows 10 Home edition. Its 4-cell 40 Wh battery provides up to 8 hours of usage, which is fairly good. However, some users suggest that this figure can be higher by at least 1 hour during their usage, which is odd because manufacturers usually give a higher value than what they actually provide. For wireless connection, the laptop delivers WiFi and Bluetooth 4.0. A 1 MP fixed focus CMOS camera, which features up to 720p and dual array microphone is also built into the laptop for convenience in terms of video calls. For input/output ports, it has a USB 3.0 port, a Micro HDMI port and a 3.5 mm headphone/microphone combo jack. The laptop weighs starting at 2.3 lbs (1.04 kg) and measures at 11.06" x 7.68" x 0.59" (281 x 195 x 14.9mm). This measurements put it in the ultraportable category, although it is still heavier than the 0.92 kg Macbook. Keyboard and trackpad are good enough in view of the laptop's size, but also fall behind the 12” Apple Macbook. The Yoga 710 is quite unique in terms of its offerings and the only laptop which comes close enough with the same screen size is the HP Spectre X2, which, however, is more expensive and doesn’t really convert to a conventional laptop form due to its kickback stand. Other convertibles are usually in the 13.3” range and can be a bit too big for a tablet.Specifications

If all you want is a basic convertible laptop that can become a tablet when the need arises, your $600 gets you a lot more today than it did earlier this year. With a full HD screen, twice the storage, and long battery life, the Lenovo Yoga 710 (11") is a model of what's possible in this category. You have other options if you want to spend less—the Asus Transformer Mini (T102HA-D4-GR), a new Editors' Choice, is a detachable-hybrid that costs $200 less and has longer battery life, though there's the expected performance hit. And, as demonstrated above, if you're willing to pay a bit more, you can take a step up in power. But for balancing these qualities and more in the entry-level segment, the 11-inch Yoga 710 well deserves to replace the Dell Inspiron 11 3000 Series 2-in-1 Special Edition (3153) as our Editors' Choice budget convertible-hybrid.

All in all, we're impressed with the 11.6-inch Yoga 710. Its screen is too small to take advantage of stand or tent mode and give a presentation, but it's a handy little computer with the even handier ability to flip into tablet mode for occasional Web or Netflix enjoyment. We wish our test configuration were $499 instead of $599, though, because of the large segment of owners who used the small MacBook Air mostly as a simple note-taker and basic productivity machine. They have a lot of less powerful but considerably less expensive options, such as the Asus Transformer Book Flip TP200SA.

The Lenovo Yoga 710 is a really a great laptop if you want to be on the move and able to still get email, documents, and web browsing done. Works great as a streaming media machine as well as the display is crispy. Battery life is super so long as you keep streaming to a dull roar, of course battery will drain the more streaming you do.

The Lenovo Yoga 710 11 offers a satisfactory combination of features and performance for the price. It looks attractive enough, and is relatively easy to carry around, though it’s hefty as a tablet. It went for over six and a half hours in our battery test, some of the longest we’ve seen.

The Lenovo YOGA 710 is one of those laptops you get when you want something lightweight and nice looking, you need a decent amount of power but also good battery life, and you don’t want to entirely break the bank but you’re looking beyond the budget tier. The laptop really is very nice looking, so much so that the design’s probably chiefly responsible for first attracting prospective buyers. As with many YOGA products, though, it is more than just a pretty face and the model is well suited to meet most buyers’ needs.

The 11-inch Lenovo Yoga 710 is a lightweight hybrid that offers great battery life, performance and audio. Unfortunately, its too-blue display and warm underside hurt an otherwise solid experience. Those who need more horsepower should check out the Acer Switch Alpha 12, though that machine offers less battery life and costs $150 more.

The Lenovo Yoga 11 710 is a Windows take on the 12in MacBook mould, but at half the price and with a super-flexi hinge for a bit of hybrid flavour. Build quality is good, the screen is nice, the keyboard fine, and battery life is even better than the company's claims. Other than an occasionally fiddly-feeling trackpad and lack of memory card slot, you'll only encounter issues if you radically overestimate what an Intel Core M laptop like this can do.

You don’t sacrifice aesthetics or functionality provided you’re looking for an ultra-portable machine, with quick bouts of writing, surfing or movie watching in mind, otherwise, the 14-inch Yoga 710 might be the best alternative.

The Lenovo Yoga 11 710 is a great little device for those who travel a lot or who have no need for a big laptop. This is one of the best alternatives to the 12-inch MacBook, a truly tiddly machine that offers better value than Apple, not to mention a touchscreen and an ultra-flexible hinge. It's not powerful, but that's not the point. The trackpad, like several of Lenovo’s recent models, is not perfect. But given the great value on offer here it’s worth persevering with.

There’s nothing so wrong with the Lenovo Yoga 710 15-inch that you shouldn’t buy it. It’s taken some time, but the company is hitting a decent stride with this line of devices. The notebook does have a tad too much screen for shoppers that are going to use it in Tablet Mode often, but that speaks more about buyers than the device itself.

Between its beautiful screen, responsive keyboard and solid performance, the Lenovo Yoga 710 is the best 15-inch hybrid you can get for $1,000 or less.If you need longer battery life, consider the HP Spectre x360 15t, which lasts an hour and 20 minutes longer. The trade-offs for choosing that machine, however, are a shallow keyboard and a $150 higher price tag (the HP starts at $1,149).

The YOGA 710 is proof that reasonably powerful 15-inch laptops don’t have to be back-breaking behemoths. This model may not be an ultrabook, but it’s not that far removed from one, and you get excellent hardware options in exchange for that little extra heft and bulk.

In my opinion, most users just can’t go wrong with Lenovo Yoga 710 80V4000GUS. It has impressive performance under the hood, the main points of interests being Core i5 processor and solid-state drive. Appropriate for this price, also the 2-in-1 display supports Full HD – professionals that work with graphics will appreciate the 1080p screen. If I was to say something negative it would be gaming performance: only integrated graphics card is found inside. Otherwise, as said above, the Lenovo is very decent and safe choice if you’re after some laptop quality and performance!

Lenovo Yoga 710-14IKB-80V4004RSP
The Lenovo Yoga 710-14IKB-80V4004RSP is a convertible laptop. It is the successor of the Lenovo Yoga 700 series laptop. Its elegant exterior design features silver-gray surfaces on the deck which feature chrome lines on its edges. All exterior surfaces of this model are made of aluminum and offer adequate strength and resistance except for the frame of the screen, which is made of plastic. The convertible laptop has firm 360-degree hinges, which allow this model to take the tablet, music stand and store modes apart from the laptop and keep the screen in the selected position during normal use. However, it cannot avoid a slight oscillation in unstable environments such as buses or trains on the move. The low-volt Intel Core i5-7200U processor clocked at 2.5 GHz, it is capable of performing daily tasks such as office, surfing the Internet, multimedia, etc. and advanced tasks such as photo retouching, CAD design, etc. at good performance. It has 8 GB of DDR4 memory at 2.133 MHz in a single module and a 256 GB SSD drive with an M.2 interface (2280 format). The integrated Intel HD Graphics 620 delivers excellent multimedia playback capabilities, an acceptable gaming experience with details low in HD resolution on current modern games such as Titanfall 2 (2016) or Resident Evil 7 (2017). One of the strengths of this model is the high quality of its display. The laptop comes with a 14-inch LCD panel with Full-HD resolution and LED backlight, which offers high brightness and contrast values, and good color fidelity. Thanks to IPS technology, the display also offers very wide viewing angles. Backlit in white, its keyboard provides a good writing experience despite the short stroke when pressed. It is all thanks to the appropriate size of its keys and the generous spacing between them. The touchpad comes with a smooth surface, which offers adequate response and accuracy. It also supports multi-touch gestures. Looking at the base of the convertible laptop, it has a pair of JBL stereo speakers, which provide good sound quality. However, the bass is not significant due to the lack of a subwoofer. It comes with a large 6960 mAh battery. Coupled with the high energy efficiency of its hardware configuration, it allows the laptop to exceed 9 hours of battery life with Wi-Fi navigation. It has very good networking capabilities being compatible with Wifi-AC (Dual Band), Bluetooth version 4.0 and Intel Wireless Display (WiDi). All in, the Lenovo Yoga 710-14IKB-80V4004RSP is a solid convertible laptop but its price range is rather high for what it offers. There are other convertibles by Acer and Asus which are priced lower. 14.00:
14 inch display size represents a middle ground between the small subnotebook formats and the screens of the standard 15 inch laptops.
The reason for the popularity of mid-sized displays is that this size is reasonably easy on the eyes, provides good resolutions with usable detail sizes, yet does not consume too much power and the devices can still be reasonably compact.
In the past, 14-inch devices were very rare, but now they are the standard for laptops after the 15-inchers.
