The Lenovo Legion Tab 5 tablet is a performance beast

Our detailed review of the gaming tablet portrays an overwhelmingly positive picture, praising the Lenovo Legion Tab for its performance, courtesy of its Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 SoC. The tablet managed an impressive 3,500 points in the Geekbench 6.7 multi-core benchmark, crushing its predecessor by around 61%.

That said, stress-testing the Legion gaming tablet revealed a substantial downgrade in performance over multiple benchmark runs, with 3DMark reporting a stability score of 78.8% in the Solar Bay stress test, trailing its predecessor by around 7%.

In peak performance, however, the Adreno 840 iGPU helped the Legion Tab 5 effortlessly outshine the previous Legion Tab, by a healthy 48%.

Lenovo decided to go with an IPS display for the Legion Tab 5, featuring an 8.8-inch 165 Hz panel with a resolution of 3040 x 1904, allowing for an impressive pixel density of 407 PPI. 

The panel performed decently well in our review, even though it's far from the most color accurate we have seen. A peak brightness of around 582 nits was revealed.
