Reviews for the Lenovo Legion Y90

Lenovo Legion Y90 Display test
Source: DxOMark English
The Lenovo Legion Y90, marketed mainly as a gaming phone, provided a below-average display performance overall and in its Premium segment. While the screen’s proper brightness made indoor use of the device comfortable, using the device outdoors showed the display’s limitations. Outdoor readability was very poor, and the display was unreadable in the sunlight. The Lenovo Legion Y90 is not the ideal device to watch HDR10 videos because of the display’s low brightness and poor color rendering. However, one bright spot for the Legion Y90 display was its touch performance, which helped to provide a very good video-gaming experience. Video gamers are likely to appreciate the display’s touch latency, which was clocked at a fast 41 milliseconds during testing, its good touch smoothness and its accuracy.

Qualcomm Adreno 730: Graphics chip for smartphones and tablets that is integrated within the Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 SoC. Qualcomm claims that it is 30% faster than the Adreno 660 in the Snapdragon 888 SoC. For Android it should be one of the fastest graphics cards in late 2021.

Modern games should be playable with these graphics cards at low settings and resolutions. Casual gamers may be happy with these cards.

6.92":

It is a small display format for smartphones. You shouldn't be severely defective in vision, and you won't see much detail on the screen and only have a small resolution available. For that, the device should be small and handy, easy to transport.
