Lenovo has published an official trailer for the Legion Y700, its Snapdragon 870-powered Android tablet. The video confirms a few more aspects about the tablet, which is believed to be arriving later this month.

Lenovo continues to tease the Legion Y700, its gaming-focused Android tablet. While the company has already published plenty of promotional images showcasing the Legion Y700, it has now shared an official trailer video on Weibo. Re-posted to YouTube by Sparrows News, the trailer highlights the Legion Y700's capabilities as a gaming device first and a productivity device second.

Additionally, Lenovo has included close-ups of the tablet, confirming support for Dolby Atmos and Dolby Vision, plus that it has JBL-branded speakers. Also, it seems that Lenovo has developed a Legion-branded game launcher, among other software refinements.

While Lenovo bills the Legion Y700 as a gaming tablet, it has only equipped it with the Snapdragon 870, an SoC that is part of the Snapdragon 865 family. In other words, the Legion Y700 will launch with a chipset that is two generations old. Still, the Legion Y700 is expected to support a 120 Hz refresh rate and a 2K native resolution.

Moreover, the tablet will have an 8.8-inch display, 0.5-inches larger than the iPad mini 6 and much smaller than competing Android tablets. Lenovo is tipped to reveal the Legion Y700 on February 28 in China. It is unclear when the company will release the tablet elsewhere, though.
