As configured, the Legion Pro 5i costs Rs 1,58,000 in India. Considering the overall package, when combined with the price tag, there’s hardly anything here to complain about. The laptop has great performance, runs cool, has a nice colour-accurate display with a 240Hz refresh rate, the keyboard is nice to type, and Lenovo is one of the most reliable laptop brands on the market. While the speakers and battery life could have been better, I don’t think that’s a deal breaker for anyone.

So that’s my review of the new Lenovo Legion Pro 5i 2024. This is definitely a powerful gaming laptop with a lot to love, headlined by its gaming performance and the capable cooling system itself. It’s not perfect of course, as you already know based on everything I’ve talked about so far. The battery life — in particular — sucks here. There’s really not much Lenovo can do about it, although I really think Lenovo could’ve done a better job in terms of port selection on this year’s Legion Pro 5i. ‘Cause… how come something that costs a little under NPR 250,000 doesn’t have a Thunderbolt or even a USB4 connection? You can actually find a couple of last-gen options with RTX 4070 graphics at a similar price range as well. Like Dell’s Alienware m16 R1 (2023) and the Acer Predator Helios Neo 16 (2023).

16.00":
15-inch display variants are the standard and are used for more than half of all laptops.
The reason for the popularity of mid-sized displays is that this size is reasonably easy on the eyes, often allows high resolutions and thus offers rich details on the screen, yet does not consume too much power and the devices can still be reasonably compact - simply the standard compromise.

As of 2004, the company was the largest laptop manufacturer in China and, after acquiring IBM's PC division in 2005, the fourth largest in the world. In addition to desktops and notebooks, the company manufactures monitors, projectors, servers, etc, and specializes in developing, manufacturing and marketing consumer electronics, personal computers, software, enterprise solutions and related services.
In 2016, the company ranked first in the world in computer sales. It still held it in 2023 with about 23% global market share. Important product lines are Thinkpad, Legion and Ideapad.
In 2011, it acquired a majority stake in Medion AG, a European computer hardware manufacturer. In 2014, Motorola Mobility was purchased, which gave Lenovo a boost in the smartphone market.
72%: This rating is poor. More than three quarters of the models are rated better. That is rather not a purchase recommendation. Even if verbal ratings in this area do not sound that bad ("sufficient" or "satisfactory"), they are usually euphemisms that disguise a classification as a below-average laptop.
