Leaked Resident Evil 3 remake images show new looks for Jill, Carlos, and Nemesis
Some artwork for a Resident Evil 3: Nemesis remake has been accidentally leaked onto the PlayStation Network. Although the game has not been officially announced yet, it has long been rumored, and it seems the new images confirm the existence of the title. Jill, Carlos, and Nemesis feature in the pictures with updated looks for the 21st century.
The Resident Evil 3: Nemesis remake is expected to be announced soon, especially as artwork for the game has already appeared on the PlayStation Network, as tracked by Gamstat and shared via ResetEra. The three images (posted below) reveal little about the game itself, and two of them are identical apart from having different captions on them.
Jill Valentine, Carlos Oliveira, and Nemesis have been unsurprisingly reworked for the Resident Evil 3 remake, with many opining that Jill’s new look is more realistic considering the perilous situation she finds herself in. Nemesis looks even more terrifying than his 1999 appearance in the original PlayStation game, while Carlos’ hair now has more of a post-apocalyptic zombie-killing disheveled quality to it.
One of the images makes mention of a “Z version” although it’s not currently known what this could incorporate. Resident Evil 3: Nemesis was an incredibly popular game and the leaked remake images have created a lot of excitement with fans of the series. The games of the Resident Evil franchise, developed by Capcom, have sold in the region of 93 million units.
