Leak shares early details about compact 'all-around' flagship tablet with OLED display

Oppo is seemingly working on a compact flagship tablet. A recent report from Digital Chat Station, a reliable Weibo tipster, shared that it will come with an OLED display, and the tipster also suggested that it will be powered by the Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5.

Now, with a new report, the tipster claims that there have been some changes in the configuration. Per the latest post, this rumored compact Oppo tablet will feature the non-Elite Snapdragon 8 Gen 5. This SoC was introduced alongside the Elite variant, and it's positioned right below the top-end offering from Qualcomm.

Digital Chat Station says that this change will make the compact "all-around" flagship tablet affordable. The tipster also hints that the same tablet will be rebranded as a OnePlus tablet, something that we have speculated before.

With the OLED screen and Snapdragon 8 Gen 5, the rumored OnePlus tablet would have quite an interesting position in the market. If the brands optimize the software and hardware for gaming, it could become appealing for gamers (GameSir X5s tablet controller curr. $44.99 on Amazon).

Of course, the upcoming offerings from Lenovo and RedMagic are expected to have better positions among the gaming tablets. Still, it would be good to see more brands offer small-sized pads with flagship-grade specs. As for when this rumored Oppo tab will launch, Digital Chat Station previously hinted that the Chinese debut is set for early Q2 2026, alongside the Find X9s series.
