Leak reveals all the Snapdragon SoCs coming to Nokia smartphones this year

Trusted sources close to Nokia Power User have a list of all the Nokia handsets launching this year with their respective Snapdragon SoCs. Some are already known including the now available Nokia 3, 5, and 6 budget models.

The more interesting part of the leak is that it is yet another confirmation of the flagship Nokia 9. The supposed Nokia 7 and 8 will be the mid-range offerings with Snapdragon 630 and 660 SoCs, respectively, while the Snapdragon 835 in the Nokia 9 falls in line with what was revealed through Geekbench back in May. The recent partnership between HMD and ZEISS could also potentially culminate in new high-end camera lenses for the Nokia 9.

On the other end of the spectrum is the budget Nokia 2 with a low-end Snapdragon 212 or MediaTek SoC. The Nokia 3 is already available in India for about 9499 Rupees or approximately $150 USD, so exactly how the manufacturer plans to cut even more corners off its lowest common denominator remains to be seen. If the source is true to its word, then we should see the Nokia 7 and 8 in the following months followed by the 9 towards the end of the year.
