Leagoo M5 Edge brings style to the budget market
Samsung opened the floodgates with their Edge devices and other OEMs have followed suite. Of course, the edge design is rather pricey, so you’d be hard-pressed to find a device with that form for cheap.
Chinese manufacturers are the exception, though, and a few have brought edge design to the budget market, most notable being Bluboo with their Bluboo Edge. Leagoo, not one to be left out, are set to present their own take on the issue with the new Leagoo M5 Edge.
The Leagoo M5 Edge was announced at the Global Sources Electronics Show in April, with the company pushing a “3D Edgeless Display” line. Images of the device only just surfaced, however, and we must admit that the M5 Edge looks good. It would look even better if they did something about those bottom bezels, though.
The M5 Edge will carry a dual-curved 5” HD display, 2GB of RAM, and 16GB of internal storage memory. It will ship with the entry-level MT6737 processor, 13MP rear camera, 8MP selfie shooter, rear-mounted fingerprint reader, and a disappointing 2000mAh battery.
A June release is expected.
