Since LG released its latest flagship smartphone, the G4, back in April this year, the company has introduced several new models extending the G4 family: G4 Beat, G4c and G4 Stylus. Now, the Korean giant revealed its plans to introduce another device that will take the top-end spot in the G4 line-up.
The new device will most likely be sold under the LG G4 Pro moniker. LG’s President and CEO of Mobile Communications, Cho Jun-ho, confirmed that it will be a high-end device by referring to it as a „super premium phone”.
The LG G4 Pro will allegedly feature a 6-inch QHD (2560x1440) display, although some sources say it might even come with a 4K resolution. Inside its thin, metallic body, we’ll most likely find the upcoming Snapdragon 820 processor, 4 GB of RAM and a 20 MP camera.
Cho Jun-ho also mentioned, that LG is now deciding on the most appropriate timing to launch the new device. This might indeed be crucial for the G4 Pro’s success, as other high-end devices, such as the new iPhones or Samsung Galaxy Note 5, are scheduled for launches in the coming months.
