TheLG G4 just launched not too long ago and there are already rumors on its successor. Past rumors have claimed that the South Korean manufacturer would launch two flagship smartphones by the end of this year, and now it is looking likely that this second model could be the G4 Pro for a reveal this Fall.
The G4 Pro will be distinguished from the existing G4 by its full-metal casing instead of plastic. This new design will naturally lead to higher costs and risks for LG as sales may likely trail behind Apple and HTC, who have been fans of metal cases for quite some time.
Meanwhile, the display size is expected to be larger as well compared to the G4. Otherwise, there are no concrete details or release dates just yet for this "Plus" version of the G4.

After graduating with a B.S. in environmental hydrodynamics from the University of California, I studied reactor physics to become licensed by the U.S. NRC to operate nuclear reactors. There's a striking level of appreciation you gain for everyday consumer electronics after working with modern nuclear reactivity systems astonishingly powered by computers from the 80s.
