While Microsoft has its Fitness Tracker, the company currently lacks a full-fledged consumer smartwatch. Rumors have been swirling for quite some time now about such a potential device from the tech giant, but no official word have come out just yet.
However, this hasn't stopped designers and enthusiasts from producing fan-made renders of the hypothetical Microsoft smartwatch. Tumblr page apeggy.tumblr.com posted concepts of a smartwatch codenamed "Microsoft Moonraker", though this source had since been removed. The Smartwatch possesses the usual flashy Lumia colors and could certainly pass as the real thing. It also bears resemblance to the Samsung Gear 2 Neo.
Former leaker Evan Blass retweeted the original concept art and says "Moonraker" could very well be an old piece of technology in the R&D phases back when Nokia was independent from Microsoft. The project may have ultimately been dropped, but the official status is currently unknown.
