LG celebrates X-Men: Apocalypse with the X Power and X Mach smartphones

Superhero movies draw large crowds of young adults, so it's no surprise that some manufacturers are jumping in to take advantage of the multi-billion dollar market. The LG X Power and X Mach smartphones are inspired by the heroes from X-Men: Apocalypse in design and presentation.

Those who follow LG will notice right away that the X Power and X Mach share some features with the existing X Cam and X Screen revealed earlier this year. Nonetheless, prices and availability of these superhero smartphones have not yet been announced for Europe.

The LG X Mach will be the more powerful smartphone of the two with its 5.5-inch QHD panel and LTE Cat. 9 connectivity providing speeds of up to 450/50 Mbps downstream/upstream. Interestingly, it will also carry the smaller battery pack compared to the X Power, It's worth noting that many wireless providers in Europe do not yet support Cat. 9 transfer rates as well.
