LG rolling out X Cam and X Screen smartphones this week
LG Electronics announced its X Cam and X Screen smartphones ahead of MWC 2016 as to leave room for the big debut of the flagship G5 smartphone in Barcelona. The X Screen features a second always-on display while the X Cam features dual rear cameras (13 MP and 5 MP) and a front 8 MP camera. Both models will begin shipping later this week.
Availability will come first to LG's home country of South Korea followed by Europe, Latin America, and other regions in Asia thereafter. The exact launch dates and prices of both phones, however, have not been officially announced.
Core specifications for the X Cam include a 5.2-inch FHD display, octa-core processor, 2 GB RAM, and 16 GB eMMC. The X Screen will carry a slightly smaller 4.9-inch HD display with a second display for notifications and messages in a similar manner to the LG V10.
