The IP68-rated LG V30 flagship arrived last September, but this is more than just another Qualcomm Snapdragon 835-powered flagship. In addition to its increased resistance to water and dust, it is also compliant with the MIL-STD 810G standard for protection from rough handling. However, this does not mean ruggedness cannot come in style, since a red LG V30 has just been unveiled.
According to the official press release, "Raspberry Rose, an intense saturated version of red, is a hue quite unlike any previous smartphone color offered by LG or its competitors." The LG V30 Raspberry Rose will be displayed at CES 2018 and is expected to hit South Korea later this month, with key markets in Europe and Asia also scheduled to follow as soon as possible.
Sadly, there is no information about the memory/storage variants chosen to get the Raspberry Rose finish since there are quite a few of them on the market right now. The regular LG V30 comes with 4 GB RAM and 64 GB internal storage, but those who need more can grab the LG V30+ with 128 GB internal storage, not to mention the king-of-the-hill LG V30 Signature Edition with 6 GB RAM and no less than 256 GB internal storage that also comes with Android 8.0 Oreo onboard.
No matter the memory/storage variant, all LG V30 handsets come with a Corning Gorilla Glass 5-protected 6-inch wide display (1,440 x 2,880 pixels), a 16 MP + 13 MP dual camera setup on the back, an advanced HiFi Quad DAC and B&O PLAY audio tuning, a full set of connectivity options, as well as Qi power wireless charging. The list of colors currently available includes Lavender Violet, Moroccan Blue, Cloud Silver, and Aurora Black.
