LG Soundbars 2024: Three new models with wireless audio transmission, 9.1.5 setup and improved room analysis

LG has presented (or at least teased) three new soundbars. The manufacturer is yet to provide the exact technical specifications and has not yet commented on the prices. This information is not expected until March 2023.

The S95TR model is a 9.1.5 soundbar with an impressive output of 810 watts, which should cut a good figure in large rooms and under large televisions. The included rear speakers and the improved tweeters are another selling point and are intended to provide a strong immersive sound experience. 

The SG10TY is a new model with more compact dimensions and is intended to complement wall-mounted LG OLED G and LG OLED M televisions in particular. It is a 420 watt 3.1 soundbar, which does not necessarily have to be connected via cable and offers a wireless connection option via WOWCAST

The S70TY 3.1.1 soundbar, advertised with an output of 400 watts, is specially tailored to LG QNED televisions and can be attached directly to the television using a special bracket without drilling. All soundbars feature Triple Level Spatial Sound technology, which is intended to create natural but spatial sound - to this end, the AI spatial calibration will be revised for 2024. This analyzes the environment and room acoustics. Rear speakers will also be included in this analysis process for devices from model year 2024.
