Kia has shared the first official images of the upcoming EV4 GT. The standard EV4 launched earlier in 2025, with various GT-Line and GT-Line S trims already on offer in various countries. Plus, the company has already launched GT versions of its EV6 and EV9 vehicles.
Now, in a press release about a new GT Wrap, Kia is showing off the EV4 GT hatchback. The GT Wrap is a black, gray and neon green foil which is used to camouflage the brand’s electric GT prototypes. Kia indicates that the geometric design hints at the speed of its GT models, stating that it touches on “the emotional character of its (Kia’s) high-performance cars”. The images also show bespoke rims on this prototype.
The specifications of the Kia EV4 GT have yet to be revealed. As a reminder, the standard EV4 is a front wheel drive vehicle with a single 201 bhp motor, and 58.3 kWh and 81.4 kWh battery options. If it were to follow in the footsteps of the EV6 GT and the EV9 GT, it could have a Virtual Gear Shift (VGS) system, designed to mimic the experience of shifting gears in a petrol car through a series of shift patterns, shift feel and simulated sounds.
The Kia EV4 GT is currently scheduled for release in 2026, though an exact launch date has yet to be provided. As a guide on price, in the UK, the top-of-the-range EV4 GT-Line S with a heat pump costs £44,795, so the EV4 GT is expected to start from at least £50,000.
