Amazon has given away five freebies throughout January 2026, and now, two more have been unlocked. For those who missed the last announcements, these are the free games that unlocked in the past, and they are still available to claim:

• Brigador: Up-Armored Deluxe

• DeathKeep

As for the two new free games that became available on Amazon Luna, one is a well-rated narrative-driven game, Harold Halibut. Released in 2024, this adventure title features unique handcrafted stop-motion visuals, which the developer achieved by scanning physical models into Unity.

Players get to control Harold, a janitor, and the currently free game on Amazon Luna has a total of six chapters, with each offering an exploration-heavy experience. However, it's worth noting that the story is linear, and the controls can feel clunky at times. On Steam, it has over 1,000 reviews, and among them, 82% are positive. As for its worth, when not on sale, it costs $34.99, with the all-time low price on Steam being $13.99.

Moving to the second newly unlocked free game, it's D&D Stronghold: Kingdom Simulator. Released in 2004, it combines Dungeons & Dragons 1st edition lore with kingdom-building strategy. Players get to manage a stronghold, construct farms, and build defenses.

While the game is praised for its SimCity-style gameplay, balancing buildings, expansion, and resources, it's often criticized for having a weird mix of 2D and 3D visuals. There's a good level of replayability, but it can get a bit boring after the initial phases.

&D Stronghold: Kingdom Simulator has an 87% positive rating with over 40 reviews on Steam, and it retails for $5.99 when it's not discounted. It's worth noting that these free games can only be claimed with a Prime account, and for new subscribers, Amazon offers a free 30-day trial that can be taken advantage of.
