JLab launches the Go Pop ANC: The company's most inexpensive, noise-cancelling earbuds
JLab has launched the Go Pop ANC, the company's cheapest, active noise cancelling earbuds with a $29.99 MSRP (available soon on Amazon). The earbuds have an IP55-rating for waterproofing and dustproofing, and direct sprays of water will not damage them. Users can quickly connect the Go Pop ANC to multiple devices within 30 feet (9.1 meters) with Google Fast Pair and multipoint Bluetooth 5.3 connection capability.
The JLab earbuds use a large 10mm driver for powerful sound reproduction across a frequency range of 20Hz to 20 kHz. Dual solid-state MEMS microphones provide noise-cancellation during calls outdoors. Calls and music are transmitted using the universal SBC Bluetooth codec.
Users control the basic functions of the earbuds through the built-in touch functionality. The JLab smartphone app provides additional control over the sound equalization, noise-cancellation, music and movie modes, safe hearing feature, and updates. A special Be Aware mode allows important ambient sounds through for safe use in environments where the user must remain aware of their surroundings. The Dual Connect feature allows one earbud to be used independently of the other.
The Go Pop ANC runs 6 hours with noise cancellation on before requiring a recharge. The included charging case with integrated USB-C charging cable can fast-charge the earbuds, providing users with one hour of runtime after ten minutes of charging. The charging case provides up to 21 hours of additional runtime. A full charge of the earbuds or charging case takes two hours.
The Go Pop ANC earbuds measure 0.80 x 0.68 x 0.87 inch (20.3 x 17.3 x 22.1 mm) and weigh 0.29 ounce (8.2 grams). The case measures 2.2 x 1.0 x 1.6 inch (55.9 x 25.4 x 40.6 mm) and weighs 0.78 ounce (22 grams).
