Intel Arc Alchemist GPU that allegedly rivals the RTX 3070 Ti makes an appearance in a short video
A few days ago, we reported that VideoCardz has got its hands on some pictures of one of Intel’s upcoming Arc Alchemist GPUs. Looking at the eight memory modules and the rumored 225 W power draw, we speculated that the GPU in the pictures could be the alleged GeForce RTX 3070 Ti rival.
Twitter user Ayxerious has now posted a short video of the above-mentioned Intel Arc GPU. While the footage doesn’t show anything ground-breaking, it seems to confirm a few things. First, the Intel Arc dGPU with the 512 EUs will have three DisplayPort 2.0s and a single HDMI port. Second, the card is indeed supporting a dual-slot, dual-fan design.
Moreover, there is a new better-quality picture of the PCB of the same Intel Arc GPU posted on Twitter by user Bionic Squash. Upon closer inspection, we can see that the PCB has eight GDDR6 memory modules and 10 VRM phases. All of these things point towards the GPU being the more powerful of the Intel Arc Alchemist lineup.
Whether the card is the RTX 3070 Ti competitor we suspect or something else, we’ll know more as 2022 progresses.
Just fyi I have no idea where this is from. pic.twitter.com/QEJs7D7Tmb
