The Innioasis Y1 is a music player that clearly copies the design of the Apple iPod Classic or the smaller 3rd-gen iPod Nano. The manufacturer even includes a click wheel, which allows users to quickly scroll through lists, control playback and skip songs. Even the menu structure was inspired by the Apple iPod, but the software differs from the original in many ways.
Additionally, Innioasis has also modernized the specs in several important areas. For example, the Y1 offers a USB-C port for charging the integrated 1,250mAh battery. The battery is expected to provide a runtime of 35 hours of music playback or four hours of video playback. The small 1.8 inch-hard drive of the iPod Classic is replaced by 128GB flash storage, which results in a capacity that is actually smaller than that of Apple's old music player.
Thanks to Bluetooth 4.2, the music player can be connected to wireless headphones, while a 3.5mm headphone jack is also available. Furthermore, the player supports 21 different file formats for music and audiobooks and features an integrated FM radio. Innioasis provides no technical specifications for the built-in amplifier and digital-to-analog converter, but considering the price, buyers should not expect miracles regarding audio quality.
