The Inateck DK2001 8-in-1 docking station for iMac 24 M1 2021 is crowdfunding on Kickstarter. The gadget has been designed to sit underneath the iMac, matching its base with a sturdy aluminum casing to blend in. The dock adds three USB-A and two USB-C ports to your iMac, which you can use to charge gadgets at up to 10.5 W. A further USB-C port is used to connect the gadget to a USB-C port on the back of your device.
The DK2001 also includes an SD card and Micro SD card slots. Plus, you can use an NVMe SSD enclosure on the product's base to expand your storage capacity. This is compatible with 2242, 2260 and 2280 sizes across M key and B+M key SSDs. The dock supports the USB 3.2 Gen 2 standard, allowing data transfer speeds of over 800 Mbps.
You can currently receive the Inateck DK2001 8-in-1 docking station for iMac 24 M1 2021 when you pledge US$59 to the Kickstarter campaign. The gadget is expected to retail for US$99 in the future. It is worth noting that the company is shipping to a limited number of countries, including the US, the UK, Australia and the Netherlands; deliveries are expected from January.
