Xiaomi just opened up the HyperOS 3 beta program to a fresh batch of Xiaomi and Redmi devices, allowing select users to test drive the company’s newest software before its public release. In the latest round, the company is inviting owners of the Xiaomi 14 series, MIX Flip, the Redmi K70 lineup, and Xiaomi Pad 6S Pro, who will be able to preview an early build of HyperOS 3 based on Android 16 and help the software team iron out any critical bugs or issues ahead of the planned stable rollout.
The list of devices getting the HyperOS 3 beta in the latest wave:
- Xiaomi MIX Fold 4
- Xiaomi MIX Flip
- Xiaomi 14 Ultra
- Xiaomi 14 Ultra Titanium Edition
- Xiaomi 14 Pro
- Xiaomi 14 Pro Titanium Edition
- Xiaomi 14
- Redmi K70 Pro
- Redmi K70 Ultra
- Redmi K70 (sold internationally as the POCO F6 Pro)
- Redmi K70E (sold internationally as the POCO X6 Pro)
- Xiaomi Pad 6S Pro 12.4
The closed beta is currently restricted to Chinese models, but it's only a matter of time before it expands to global versions. Xiaomi has already started similar beta runs for global models like the Xiaomi 14 Ultra, Xiaomi 14T, POCO F7, Redmi 15C, and POCO C85, so a wider rollout looks imminent.
If you own any of the above-listed devices with a China ROM and want to get your hands on HyperOS 3, you'll have to request a spot in the program using the Xiaomi Community app. Testers will be recruited in two batches for each device, with the update being immediately available to those in the first batch, while the second batch testers will have to wait up to 10 days. Make sure to read through the instructions and take a full backup of your device beforehand.
Global rollout confirmed for November-December
The stable HyperOS 3 update is slated to arrive in November for the Chinese Xiaomi 14 series, MIX Fold 4, MIX Flip, and Redmi K70 devices. Meanwhile, global models including the Xiaomi 14 family, POCO F6 Pro (rebadged version of the Redmi K70), POCO X6 Pro (rebadged version of the Redmi K70E), and Xiaomi Pad 6S Pro 12.4 will follow in November, with the full rollout stretching into December.
