Huawei intends to sell as much as 100 million smartphones in 2015 and thus maintain its third position on the biggest phone manufacturers in the worlds. A model that might help the Chinese company achieve that goal is the next generation of its flagship phablet – the Huawei Ascend Mate 8.
New reports suggest that the Mate 8, touted by many as a worthy competitors for Samsung Galaxy Note 5, will be officially launched on September 2nd, during the IFA 2015 trade show in Berlin.
According to numerous leaks and rumors, Huawei’s next flagship will come with a 6-inch, 2560x1440 resolution display. Inside the aluminum chassis, we’ll allegedly find the upcoming Kirin 950 SoC with powerful ARM Mali T880 graphics unit. The device should also feature at least three, and most likely four gigabytes of RAM, a 20 MP camera as well as a fingerprint scanner.
