Reviews for the HP Mini 210-2070nr

We found the Mini 210 to deliver a stellar netbook experience at a great price. The 210 could easily move from work to play and back again with enough battery life to do just that. While netbooks have a tough time competing with the iPad these days, the Mini 210 offers a nice alternative thanks to the ability to get a lot of work done on the capable keyboard and the ability to relax by watching movies and YouTube videos.

HP's Mini 210-2000 is a considerable improvement on its predecessor, the Mini 110, and has managed to iron out some of the deficiencies in earlier versions of the Mini 210, although the touchpad needs a major rethink

There's nothing special about the HP Mini 210-2070nr's design or performance, but it'll give you a full day's worth of battery life and comes with a fast hard drive.

Intel Graphics Media Accelerator (GMA) 3150: Integrated (shared memory) graphics card in the intel Atom N4xx CPUs. Minimally faster than an old GMA 950 and therefore not suited for 3D games or HD videos (only MPEG2 acceleration).
These graphics cards are not suited for Windows 3D games. Office and Internet surfing however is possible.

Intel Atom: The Intel Atom series is a 64-Bit (not every model supports 64bit) microprocessor for cheap and small notebooks (so called netbooks), MIDs, or UMPCs. The speciality of the new architecture is the "in order" execution (instead of the usual and faster "out of order" execution). Therefore, the transistor count of the Atom series is much lower and, thus, cheaper to produce. Furthermore, the power consumption is very low. The performance per Megahertz is therfore worse than the old Pentium 3M (1,2 GHz on par with a 1.6 GHz Atom).
N455: Intel Atom CPU for Netbooks with integrated DDR3 memory controller and GMA 3150 GPU. The performance of the system should be only minimally faster than the previous Atom N280 / GMA 950 combination.» Further information can be found in our Comparison of Mobile Processsors.
10.10":
This is a standard display format for tablet computers or small convertibles. You see more on the screen than on a smartphone but you can't use big resolutions well. On the other hand, mobility is not a problem.
» To find out how fine a display is, see our DPI List.HP: Founded in 1939, the US company is a major server and printer manufacturer and one of the leading IT companies in the world. Until 2015, the company was called Hewlett-Packard Company. After a split, the computer division was renamed HP Inc.
In 2023, HP had an approximate market share of 22% of global PC sales, making it number 2 after Lenovo.
70%: This rating is poor. More than three quarters of the models are rated better. That is rather not a purchase recommendation. Even if verbal ratings in this area do not sound that bad ("sufficient" or "satisfactory"), they are usually euphemisms that disguise a classification as a below-average laptop.
