HP EliteBook 800 G4 series coming soon

The HP EliteBook lineup has been around for a long time, always receiving hardware and software updates to be able to properly face the competition. Now, the time has arrived for Intel Kaby Lake processors. In addition to the new chips, the EliteBook 800 G4 series notebooks also receive new security features.

The new HP EliteBook 800 G4 notebooks will hit the market next year in 12.5-, 14-, and 15.6-inch variants. The main highlight is the HP Sure Start Gen3 technology, which notifies the user when it appears that someone tried to tamper with the BIOS. These are the highlights of the upcoming models:

• HP EliteBook 820 G4: 12.5-inch, up to 32 GB DDR4-2133, 512 GB SSD or 1 TB HDD, Intel Kaby Lake Core i3/i5/i7
• HP EliteBook 840 G4: 14-inch, up to 32 GB DDR4-2133, 512 GB SSD or 1 TB HDD, Intel Kaby Lake Core i3/i5/i7, with 2,560X1,440 pixel-display option, bigger case, increased autonomy
• HP EliteBook 850 G4: 15.6-inch, up to 32 GB DDR4-2133, 512 GB SSD or 1 TB HDD, Intel Kaby Lake Core i3/i5/i7, AMD Radeon R7 M465 graphics option, 1,366X768/1,920X1,080/3,840X2,160 pixel-display options

In addition to the above, we should expect a lot in terms of connectivity, including USB Type-C, NFC, DisplayPort, as well as touchscreen keyboards, fingerprint readers, and more.
