Lenovo's VP recently posted a teaser on Weibo revealing that the release date for the ZUK Edge will be December 20th. The handset might become one of the cheapest smartphones with Snapdragon 821.
Last time we told you about the ZUK Edge, we expected the phone to be released on December 7th. That day came and went but Chinese online merchant JD.com did not start sales despite it listing the ZUK Edge for some time now. However, we now have a new release date for you and this time it might hold better. Lenovo's Vice president posted a teaser on Weibo recently, revealing that the official release date for the ZUK Edge will indeed be December 20th.
The ZUK Edge will be one of the cheapest phones with a Snapdragon 821 processor, according to previous leaks that suspect the handset to go on sale for $392. This will give you 4 GB of RAM and 64 GB of storage, a 3,000 mAh battery, a 13 megapixel camera on the back and a 8 megapixel lens on the front. The 5.5 inch display of the ZUK Edge will feature Full-HD resolution and very small borders. We do not expect the phone to be available outside of China initially.
