Google Pixel Watch: Pricing leaks for European and US markets as talk of November shipment date emerges
Pricing details for the Pixel Watch have surfaced ahead of the device's long-awaited release. Already confirmed for an October 6 release, the Pixel Watch should launch in Bluetooth and LTE variants, matching its competitors like the Apple Watch Series 8 and the Samsung Galaxy Watch5 series. However, Google is only expected to offer the Pixel Watch in a single size and with a modified Exynos 9110, the chipset that Samsung launched in 2018 with the Galaxy Watch Active2.
As one image below shows, the Pixel Watch will start at US$349.99 with Bluetooth and Wi-Fi connectivity. Purportedly, the same retail source confirmed US$399.99 pricing for the LTE model. Additionally, the Pixel Watch should be available in the following colour options:
- Bluetooth/Wi-Fi
- Black case/Obsidian band
- Silver case/Chalk band
- Gold case/Hazel band
- LTE
- Black case/Obsidian band
- Gold case/Hazel band
- Silver case/Charcoal band
For reference, 9to5Google alleges that 'Chalk' is actually off-white, whereas 'Charcoal' is dark grey. Reputedly, the Pixel Watch will cost as much in Europe as it does in the US. Hence, expect Google to price the smartwatch at €349.99 and €399.99 for Bluetooth and LTE variants, respectively. Surprisingly, the Pixel Watch may ship after the Pixel 7 and Pixel 7 Pro. According to Caschys Blog, Google will start delivering Pixel 7 and Pixel 7 Pro pre-orders from October 18. Conversely, the Pixel Watch will not reach people until November 4, over two months after Samsung started shipping the Galaxy Watch5 series.
