Google Pixel 7a apparently turns up for sale ahead of official launch
The Pixel 7a is reportedly destined for an upcoming release, possibly with a pair of own-brand Buds as a gift. However, it seems that if one wants to take the chance of being "the first to get it", they can take their chances on a less official channel.
The rumored final addition to the 7 series has not joined its 6a predecessor on Amazon, but on Swappa. A total of 4 different highly-rated sellers have posted 8 listings for the same new smartphone between them.
They are all described as in either "new" or "mint" condition, as having 8GB of RAM with 128GB of internal storage, and as coming in either Snow, Sea or Charcoal (white, blue or gray, respectively) colorways.
Some of the devices are slated to come sealed in their original packaging, whereas some boxes have been opened, purporting to reveal Google once again plans to ship the device (with its resemblance to a 7 as rumored) with a charging cable, a USB type-C adapter and nothing more.
None of the sellers specify exactly how they came by their units ahead of any official pre-orders, although one or two hint that some may be review units. In any case, their asking prices of US$469-499 may or may not be an indicator of the 7a's actual launch-day price reveal.
